Waiting for sleep, you remove the tie from his neck
Twist and pull on it tightly until you know he is dead.
Wrap him in plastic and put him under the floor
Next to the others and replace the boards.
The light fades with your remorse.
Asleep when you hear the knock
You go to get up when you see the timber break around the lock.
Walking, searching, they see the boards you replaced so casually.
Light fills the cavity and they recoil in horror at what they see.
Now your confined forever.
You sit and cry in solitude so helplessly
You beg for mercy and expect peace for eternity?

Eurkuh is a black metal band, hailing from 'The place of many crows' Wagga Wagga NSW Australia. Eurkuh is currently a one man project, but it is hoped that other members will soon be recruited for live shows. The debut EP was released in January 2021.

The first 30 seconds of "Revenge by Fire" convinced me to get the whole album! It is a face-melting blend of speed and black metal, reminiscent of Hellripper! KVAEN is a Swedish solo project much like Hellripper but many known guest musicians helped J. Björnfot in his endeavor. Altogether it is really a solid debut album, I loved the melodies and the pace changes in the second half too, ending with a "calm" instrumental one. Well-done!!
